    Welcome to the AsPNA website.
Since its inception in 1988, the Asian Pediatric Nephrology Association (AsPNA) has been active in fasttracking pediatric renal and urinary tract health programs through education and advocacy projects in all of the 27 countries in Modern Asia.
One of the major aims of AsPNA is to promote the science and art of Pediatric Nephrology in the region. The rapid growth of information technology and the inevitable development of medical machinery have been instrumental and beneficial in carrying out this intention. It is but opportune that the Committee on Administrative Affairs has set up this website to enhance our expertise and further our contacts with the rest of Asia and the world. In addition, this will prove to be a valuable instrument in encouraging regional solidarity and collaboration among member nations; and in the future, facilitate scientific interactions across our region and with our IPNA regional societies.
I encourage you to maximally utilize this website. Furthermore, we welcome your suggestions and comments that will help improve its information and communication cache.

The AsPNA has developed and grown to become one of IPNA's most dynamic regional societies, with a mandate to improve the renal health situation of at least 2B infants and adolescents in the world's biggest continent.

AsPNA aims to promote the science and art of Pediatric Nephrology in Asia, maintain the highest level of professional skills and ethics in the practice of the subspecialty, foster regional camaraderie and cooperation among member nations, and represent Asian pediatric nephrology in the International Pediatric Nephrology Association (IPNA) and other international/regional nephrology endeavors.

The Philippines has been represented in an active way from the very beginning and this representation continues to flourish, those who share the above noble advocacy with other pediatric nephrologists in Asia.
